Staff Platform Engineer - Contract (UK or Europe remote) (Contract)

Staff Platform Engineer (Contract) - Remote in the UK or Europe.

Digitech are partnered with an established post IPO tech unicorn business. They have turned into one of the major players in E-commerce in the past ten years, and they're looking to bring a Staff Level Cloud Engineer to join their team.

  • Extensive experience with infrastructure tooling, ideally Terraform
  • Extensive experience with networking & edge services (such as Cloudflare & Fastly
  • Some experience in network security (eg, Web Application Firewalls, Rate Limiting, DDoS, etc).
  • Proven leadership skills, including coaching, team-building and generally supporting peers and colleagues
  • Some programming experience would be useful (Golang or similar)
  • Extensive experience with AWS networking (VPCs, Routing, Gateways etc)

This is a staff level role thus we are eager to speak to Lead or Staff level engineers. You will be considered an SME in their team and someone who help out on design and architectural responsibilities.

The rate on offer is around the £550-£600pd mark.
